Wan Intan faced a charge of possessing 7.5g of cannabis together with Mohd Husni Abu Hassan, 30, Kamarul Annuar Ahmad Juwanda, 23, and Mohd Zamri Ismail, 28. All except Mohd Zamri claimed trial.
According to the charge sheet, the four from Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Kedah were together in Room “7” at Hostel Tok Wan Mizan, Jalan Pasir Puteh on Tuesday. When police raided the room, the four were found with a green plastic bag containing 7.5g of cannabis.
It was learnt that Wan Intan was in Kelantan to film a 20-episode television drama.
Other high profile cases includes 33-year-old Singer Actress Noor Shereen Mohamad Hadzin who was also tested positive for heroin.
She was charged for consuming heroin at the Subang Villa Ehsan Apartment in Taman Sri Subang on March 15, 2005.
Another beauty from Singapore who was a consumer herself is TV presenter Cheryl Fox.
