Dr M - The Human Rights Icon

Dr M wins human rights award

Congratulations Tun Dr M, you have finally won the award that you wanted to deserve.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad received the Gaddafi International Prize for Human Rights award at Dhat Elimad hall, Libya.

The award was presented by the Secretary-General of the International Islamic Call Society Dr Muhammad Ahmad Sheriff. It was a token of appreciation for the former Malaysian prime minister's deeds and contributions to the Islamic world. The award was presented at the International Conference on Popular Islamic Leadership on Nov 27-30.

Dr Mahathir said he was honoured to be this year's recipient of the award. “I didn't expect to be chosen. It is an honour and I appreciate it very much. It's even nicer to receive the award initiated by Libya, a country that has never oppressed or colonised others,” he told a packed audience of about 1,000 local and foreign guests. – Bernama

The Muslim world leaders surely know how to choose the "Right" candidate for such an important award.

Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Kit Siang and scores of many others should be fuming ...

Malaysia sudah boleh lagi!
