This is the what the Malaysian Parliamentarians were debating:
Datuk Che Min Che Ahmad (BN-Pasir Puteh): "Women were the most important gender after men."
Teresa Kok (DAP-Seputeh: "There would be no men without women. Women give birth to men. So women come first."
Fong Po Kuan (DAP-Batu Gajah): "Even Islam acknowledged the importance of women. Heaven lies beneath the feet of a mother, not father. So women are more important, even in accordance to Islam."
So, what the F**k is the issue that commoners are going to benefit from this debate?
Did we elect these people to debate whether God created man or woman first and who is more important, the man or the woman?
Why don't they discuss the issue of Adam eating the apple given by Eve through the persuasion of lady Lucifer? Maybe, this issue of discussion will help them understand the greater importance of man over woman, or woman over man.
If possible, please help us determine whether the chicken or egg comes first, and the parable of why the chicken cross the road.
Again, the parliamentary debate brought up another great proposition:
Datuk Idris Harun (BN-Tangga Batu) said the Government should give men who marry single mothers with children "some kind of incentive" for their good deed. He made the suggestion during debate on the 2006 Budget at committee stage.
MEN who take single mothers as wives should be given monetary reward? How much? RM 1 million, or maybe, some RM10 million? Or, should Parliament enact a scale of rewards to grade the reward based on the age of the single mothers and the number of children they had, and their age group?
Women, Family and Community Development Ministry parliamentary secretary Chew Mei Fun laughingly dismissed Idris’ proposal. She said what he wanted was simply untenable.
"If I were a single mother, I would be extremely suspicious if such an incentive were available. I will wonder whether the man who wanted to marry me had a hidden agenda. Does he really want to marry me or does he want the money. This is very unhealthy."
Why should you be suspicious, Miss Chew? You should be happy and try to negotiate with the potential husband about the distribution of wealth and then happily plan a nice holiday in the Alps bringing along a toy boy and he, a trophy girlfriend and both of you can celebrate the winnings.
