The Government has formed an “action team” – the National Implementation Task Force – to ensure there are no delays in carrying out high impact projects and the bumiputra commercial and industrial community programme under the Ninth Malaysia Plan.
Abdullah's message to all was: “Start working and start implementing now.”

PM says he will ensure Project management and Programme management will be in place.
But what is project management? What is programme management?
Does he knows? How can it be in place if the ministry can't even define the term Project Management?
And they talk about best practices!!!! What and which best practices? which benchmark? KLIA, KLCC, Putrajaya, Pentagon, Manhattan Tower or MRR2 and East Coast Highway?
Even the project management applied in KLIA and KLCC are full of bull-shits. The success of KLIA and KLCC has nothing to do with project management - it was Mahathir Management - the Guerilla management system of directorate - do as I told you are else, ship out! Money, no problem - payment on time, Variation Order a plenty, approval damn fast, decision refered to Mahathir, and all the rest are basically activity management and engineering management of design and construction process which are in place and handled by EX-JKR Engineers. Was it a consultant? Bull-shit consultant! It was pure ex-JKR and the power that was and had been at the time.
So, was there project management in KLIA? BUll SHIT! Ask Jamilus! he can tell you how he got things done - sheer directive power and influence from one Man - Mahathirisma and Petronasima! They don't even know what are the 9-Knowledge Areas and 5-Process Group and how they interact and integrate within the management process. Quality Management? Bull-shit - just specify the highest quality and pay the damn high price and it will be there!!!!
The NITF, to be chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, will have two coordinating bodies under it – the NITF Executive Directorate and the National Implementation Directorate (NID) – to take charge of the day-to-day tasks to ensure the speedy implementation of projects and programmes.
