Evidence of Positive Change Coming?

Malaysia Positive Changes Coming Soon

"Three years is not enough to do work as there is still much to be done," Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi said.

3-years is not enough to do work? Pak Lah, how many years do you need? 10 0r 22? You may not have 3 more? Are you calling Malaysians to give you another 3-term?

"People can expect to see a lot of results by mid-next year,"Pak Lah said.

Dear PM, do you remember what you said last year that it's time to walk the talk? That was 2 years ago, then last year you repeat the same line. Now, you said again and it has to be middle 2007? By then, it will be election year 2008 and you may have to repeat it the 4th time?

Let's recall:

Are you still plagued by perception problem?

Still talking and not yet walking?

2007? 2008? 2009? 2020?

"It's not that we are lying idle," PM Abdullah Badawi said.

Are you sure you are aware? Aware of what?

We had waited 3 years since and today, you still say, you are aware?

You may not be lying idle, but it's at inertia,

and always on reverse gear....

it must be a mail-train... 1950 model!

Perhaps you should have a post to let the readers comment on what changes they hope to see in AAB's administration before he is considered walking the talk. It would be interesting!

mmudahlupa: I'm just being sarcastic as usual. That is what he would say. Don't get me wrong. To him, 1 year=1 minit.

How come it sounds so familiar, was it the same line used by Taiwan president? Look at the mess Taiwan is in now, you want more time, PM? Let's hope people are giving that to you.

He's trying to be slow n steady, but as a PM must be fast and accurate. Now days all the leaders just know how to talk but not walk. Even my dad also know how to talk less n work more... sigh.

Aiyoh - maybe he should remain in "elegant silence" instead of repeating those dumb lines. He keeps on behaving like a new groom, soon he'll be swept away by the old broom.

In fact, if Napoleon control Europe media, nobody will know he lost the battle of waterloo. And don't forget those spin-doctor. ;)

Bayi,

Your proposed article about "Walk the Talk" will be interesting.

However, I think my blog isn't the right forum as my readers aren't many. In fact the most appropriate blogger to do it should be Jeff Ooi or Rocky Bru. Perhaps, Howsy or DEsi could be the alternative. You can see that in my blog there are less than 10 commentors. Even Kenny Ng and See Fei have far larger comments...

*cry* nobody likes my blog except for the few who sympathised with me like you(Bayi), howsy, desi, AM, Helen, Lucia, O2DEprivation, MMudahlupa, Gukita, Lulu, Lynne, Socialapathy, Prefervision, ...and some anonymous dudes. I think that's all? Did I miss out anyone? I don't think so...
