Former Asli’s Centre for Public Policy Studies director Dr Lim Teck Ghee is applying for a teaching job at a local university so as to resume his research on Malay poverty and underdevelopment.
However, he said, he would probably leave the country again if things did not go as planned.
“For me, finding another job and leaving the country is really the last option,” he said.
Marginalisation? MCA & Gerakan said there is no marginalisation.

If Dr Lim has to leave the country because no local university would hire him, that would be a really sad day for Malaysia. My faith in AAB's government would have gone to the dogs then.
I think will be hard for him to seek teaching job at local university. As we know they are hiding the truth, and Dr. Lim is finding the truth. It's really sad if he really have to leave this country. But, he'll done very well in overseas.
Hope he will keep his citizenship to vote for future election, even if he has to leave this country. Never know, one day there might be justice.
I doubt he can stand the local U system.
moo_t, you set me thinking with your comment. I agree with your point, I doubt he can stand the local U system with those racial-based baseline adjustment and do-nothing superiors.
mave sm: Dr Lim Teck Ghee and the likes of him would NOT thrive in local universities -- when you serve under Faculty deans who often are merely MASTERS holders, some embellsih with Datuk, Tan Sri in front-lah!
I tried to induce one Y&A johnleemk to stay and promite with desi some longterm Cause -- but he need to go overseas for further studies. This 16-year-old's writings can put some ex-GEIC and curent EICs in the MSM to shame -- I speak from First hand experience, K!:(
To do wella, you must behave like those RATS at ASLI who speak with a forked in their tongue, like wolves preaching attired in sheep's Branded attire, I've met some!
Now, whre's my EIC post in Da Sien? Sien-est waiting lah!:)
