Keris and Education Paradox

What he said he meant:

Datuk Hashim explained what he meant:

“I used the kris as a metaphor and not in its literal meaning.” “I was speaking about how the education minister should take proactive action towards certain issues relating to schools.” “I had spoken at length during the motion on the economy and develop human resources before ending with the kris reference.”

Would you believed it - that's what he actually meant? Is there any intellectuality?

Can a rouge carry a gun to a bank and when arrested explained to the police that what he intended was to provide voluntary security service to assist the bank and to give the bank additional protection?

Would you believed that Dr Rahman would explained that the picture taken with Nor Hayati in which they both were wearing towel suits in the hotel bedroom for a photographic session, and that the photo was meant to be used for the participation of Halloween day photo contest next year?

Would you believed that, had the MCA youth president wielded a sword at their general assembly and shouted loud "Hidup Cina" and one delegate posed the question to Liow Tiong Lai: "when are you going to used it"; and the delegate later explained that what he meant was to ask the president when he is going to used it to slaughter a fish for lunch?

If those explanation can be accepted by the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister who are UMNO President and Deputy President, then I suppose we all should accept it ... with much worries and more anxieties of what can be forthcoming.
