Mukhriz gets Reprive

The Umno Youth executive committee had accepted Mukhriz's explanation and “sincere apology” over the controversial remarks he made about Pak Lah’s policy speech at the recent Umno general assembly.

Hishammuddin said that Umno Youth would also arrange for Mukhriz to meet Abdullah.

Hishammuddin said the issue was now closed.

Mukhirz escape disciplinary action which could have him suspended or even sacked from UMNO. In Hishmuddin's word, sons of ex-PM and ex-UMNO President do enjoy certain privileges ordinary members may not enjoy.

However, it is observed that the clash of the Titans will not end so soon. Mahathir is still recuperating from his recent heart attack and should be back to his old self soon. This time when he is back, I think he will be more well prepared to launch the scud missles more accurately and far effective demolition works.
