Tan Sri Kasitah Gaddam and two others benefited personally from RM56 million obtained from the sales of shares in Sapi Plantations Sdn Bhd.This evidence was provided by former Sabah Land Development Bhd (SLDB) general manager Datuk Mohd Tahir Jaafar at the High Court.
Tahir said he felt betrayed by Kasitah, who was then the SLDB chairman and Sapi Plantations was SLDB subsidiary.
"The people I saved from the police and the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) investigations finally betrayed me, particularly, Kasitah, Salim and Wasli."
"I trusted them for being Muslims. But they betrayed me for money and power; lots of money from the sale of shares belonging to SLDB in the region of RM56 million."

Kasitah must had read this 2004 United Nations Human Development report and decided to join the richest 10% of the population which controls 38.4% of our economic income. (2004 statistics)

What a saviour! Shouldn't the government promotes such 'saving' spirit? We can start by saving rapists, snatch thieves, robbers, murderers, and corrupt officers. Maybe, we can leave out the last one. Most of them are already well protected anyway.
