Kuching Mayor Tak Peduli Siapa Taukeh

Kuching City Mayor Abdul Hamid is demanding a public apology from State Housing Minister Abang Johari claiming he was defamed.

Hamid said Johari had wrongly and maliciously described him as “a bad, disobedient and irresponsible mayour and one who is against the economic betterment of those living in the DBKU jurisdiction.”

“This is indeed, a wild and baseless accusation by him against me,” Hamid said.

Hamid said he agreed that laws were man-made. “I am very much aware that the law has to be changed or amended from time to time due to changing circumstances,” Hamid said.

In the mean time, Sarawak chief minister Abdul Taib had pledged to donate his beautiful eyes.

Taib and his wife Laila and Deputy CM Alfred Jabu had pledge to donate their eyes.

Someday, you may see someone in Sarawak who looks like Taib or at least his eyes will be so familiar to you. That man will be called The Eyes of the Taiber.

Taib also challenge the state Health Department and NGOs to get more people to become donors. We expect to hear more of the ministers and Exco members of Sarawak to announced their eyes for the future.
