Shafie: Why Pay? Updull!

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister, Shafie Apdal said: "Why Pay; just boycott!"

What he said is, if you go to a restaurant and ordered a glass of drinking water, don't pay. If the shop insist, then boycott; it should be free as a kind of service to the community.

Samy Vellu also said that if you don't want to pay, don't use the highway or expressway; why pay?

Meanwhile Syabas and Ranhill had already increase the water tariff by some 20%. Can we also say, why pay? Boycott? The shops had to pay water bills too.... Can we also way, why pay income tax and excise duties? Why pay the ministers for spending their time in parliament talking about womens' leaks and clothing?

I wonder if the Minister boycotts those restaurants that charge for water. But wait a minute, most of his bills are paid by others, right? Easier said than done, Mr Minister! I would like to see you boycott one of these restaurants and let the press report on the incident.
