According to Nazri, "...the person on the other end (in the video-recorded conversation) was not the alleged judge".
Nazri, the minister in charge of law, then asked:
"What will happen to the judiciary if the allegation that a lawyer discussed judicial appointments is FALSE?"
He said the bench's reputation would be tarnished if action were taken on an accusation which was later found to be unfounded.
However, Nazri did not posed the question: what would happen if the allegation is TRUE.
Probably, we can understand the fact that our leaders knows it can be the truth but it is necessary to deny it as there is just too many of these truth and denying works. The ACA and the police will assist in conducting the investigation, and the likely result - they would be exonerated.
However, Nazri wants Nurin's parents to be investigated and indicted for negligence. "The law is still the law. We have to act ... no one can be exempted," Nazri said. Therefore, any person who acted or omitted to act in accordance to the law or "in-law", Nazri said the government and the police will take action against them without fail. There is no compassion nor sympathy - a law is a law and our ministers will always abide by what the law said they should do to others.
Nazri also questioned the motive behind the release of the video clip.
"I don't think the person who released the video clip to the media was interested in solving a problem.
"If they want to uphold justice or want to clean up the judiciary, the police and the ACA can investigate.
Ya, ya! The police and the ACA investigated the Close-One-Eye, Johari, ACA chief, IGP, and everyone was clean. The prosecution witness in the Altantunya case characterized the behaviors that can be expected.

by the way, the loud mouth Nazri has claimed that the CJ has to issue a denial thru him coz HE IS THE BOSS. which means the CJ is beholden to him and therefore there is no independent judiciary. Thanks loud mouth for your official confirmation and therefore there is no longer a need to second guess about judicial independence and check and balance rhetoric.
