Lee Teng Hui copied Mahathir's Cognition

Former Taiwan president Lee Teng-hui admitted he was wrong to back his successor Chen Shui-bian in 2004. He now urged his countrymen to oust Chen's party (Democratic Progressive Party) from office.

"We had chosen the wrong person, and we had been punished," the United Daily News reported.

Lee, who was Taiwan's president from 1988-2000 warned that if Taiwanese keep voting for the DPP then the country would be finished.

What a coincidence. In 2003, Mahathir named his successor Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and last year, Mahathir also admitted he had made the same mistake as parroted by Lee Teng-hui.

So, had Mahathir chosen the wrong person? Are we being punished now?

Will we continue to vote for the BN and will the country be finished too?

Pondering.... we need to ponder.

But, but, but, most of what is happening was just the same during Mahathir's time, isn't it? The judicial crisis, the sacking of Salleh Abas and 4 other Federal Court Judges, the unwritten pronouncement and declaration of Malaysia as an Islamic state, and the derogation of judicial power under the Federal Constitution was passed by the Parliament during Mahathir's tenure.

So, would Mahathir, in his twilight years, come out to openly admit his mistakes and exonerate Salleh Abas the the other 4 Federal Court Judges and few more other judges? Dear Mahathir, it's no shame to admit it now. We believe you could still undo what you have done.

He won't. And he will give tons of excuses to justify the act.

Well, I don't know if the choices presented to Tun were good.

It's between N and B...

Both could be just as bad.

There is one thing not comparable. Taiwan has more than 10 ministers arrested for graft in the last 8 years. What about bolehland? ZEROOO despite all the obvious cases.
