Changing Malaysia!Shifting outlook: On the road to a new economic horizon.
This article in NST parlayed. It was so appropriate at this moment in time as we will be having a general election and the citizens have now to make a decision as to who will they select and elect to represent them in the nation's highest legislative body.
We had observed from the facts and evidence in the witness testimonies given at the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Lingham's Video which empirically foretold how the rich and powerful businessmen and their crafty lawyers could conspire together with the Executives and Ministers to maneuver the justice system as a means to their ends.
We have read evidences provided by Raja Petra Kamaruddin at Malaysia-Today on the power and protections accorded by the police force and the organized crime syndicate.
We have read at Kit Siang's blog about a Malay teacher from SK Sungai Puyu, Butterworth who wrote: "What disheartened the Indian parents in SK Sungai Puyu is the marginalisation of their children in this school. I came to know that this programme is being carried out not only in this school but in many Sekolah Kebangsaan schools throughout Penang. The reason which prompted me to write to you is when my friend’s daughter innocently asked her father after reading the letter about the REASON why the Malay students don’t have to pay and NON MALAYS must pay for it and why it is not compulsory for the non Malay. Tears dropped from my eyes after hearing that because these are the future generation which we are moulding from now to be true Malaysian."
There were greater suppression of the citizens' voices and suppression of the citizens' right of freedom to assembly, freedom of expression, and freedom to practice religion of their choice.
Over the last 4 years, we have increase crime rate of 15% per annum, greater conflicts on religious matters caused by Barisan Nasional-UMNO Parliamentarians and those unelected but powerful little napoleons, more corruptions cases and the maneuvering of the governmental system by a non-elected representative of the government but was so powerful by virtue of being a son-in-law of a prime minister.
4 years, we have seen and read of so much. Those not written or exposed, would even be able to sweep across the estuaries and swamp into the land, flooding the fields to the dismay of all.
We have come to a point where all Malaysians, irrespective of race, creed or color, must rise and put a stop to all these crimes and excesses. We can make the change, a change for the better, and the change can only be effected at the Ballot Boxes. This is the time, for another 4 years of such excesses and pilferages would bankrupt the nation. The citizens' vote will decide the future of all Malaysians. Let us step forward to make our voice heard.

Samy Vellu said that: "Even an army will not stop me". May the Indian and Malay voters in Sungei Siput show him the way out. He had suppress the JKR, forced certain decisions on the good government servants, and make us all pay for the high and ever increasing tolls by virtue of him signing the toll concession agreement with maligned terms. I mentioned only Indian and Malay voters because I am confident the Chinese voters in Sg Siput will give their votes to the opposition, whoever they be.

Realistically, peeps can only hope the new GE could deny the 'cacing' ooops, I meant dacing 2/3 majority.
You know I know and everybody in between knows it's not going to be a clean fight with all the phantom voters and money politics. Therefore this coming GE is a good gauge how committed are the rakyat when it comes to 'change.'
As many of us would like to wish the groundswell for change would make a difference, their machinery is too large to tame completely.
I hope the voters have good sense to boot out the most incorrigible / useless / dead weight - and make the remaining sit up and become aware of the vulnerability and bring home the thought that the public has had enough.
And put in parliament people to steer the country back to sanity.
Its time to wake up from this nightmare!
I have inform my agent to sell off my property, perhaps convert to golds? 2015 are not far, and since BN will continue to rules with outdated economy plan, I cannot imagine how hard Malaysia economy is going to crash.

That Samy must go, even if the Sungai Siput people is to elect an opposition who cannot do anything or being anything to the people - simply because he has not in the BN.

POLICE moved in to escort Malaysian Indian Congress president S. Samy Vellu away after he was surrounded by a jeering crowd at a ground-breaking ceremony for a Tamil school in Petaling Jaya on Wednesday.

this confirmed that Samy Vellu is not "Shivaji The Boss", but only a Siput Babi waiting to be stepped crushed to pieces... as in Spongebob cartoon!
frankly as many have seen, indians are marginalised in every corner of the country.
yet i still don't understand the indians (whatever caste they are in) continue supporting the sentul billionaire, Samy Vellu...
99% of those indians flocking to batu caves every thaipusams are from poor families, one can count those incoming in Benzes, Estimas, no way in Lexus, let alone in Jaguar.
something is sure not right about the mentality of rural indians; my only two sen suggestion is that they read and at least consider to adopt the thinking and principles and/or follow the foot steps of father Mahatma Gandhi, if not Mahathir Mohamad.
they are simply too many indian lawyers, doctors but small in accountants where money and economic achievement matters most.
Samy Vellu will surely go and doom in coming 8 March election, but his Sothianathan will continue the Vellu legacy to corrupt the majority of the poor indians in the country.
S. Subramaniam is the right candidate to lead the party and his partnership with Hindraft could turnaround the Indian Community, the way Mittal turnaround Global Steel Industry....
this is where S. Subramaniam should join Opposition and walk to fame as he walked in Kampung Kerinchi back in late 70's, meeting the poor Indians at back of RTM squaters.
