Crux of Dissatisfaction

Now we hear leaders from the Barisan Nasional expressing what they had known but unreported all these years and now they are saying it loudly and without reservation.

Lim Keng Yaik said: "The arrogance in UMNO must stop ... those rowdy cowboys are spoiling the party's name on the ground ... the wielding of the keris must also stop as it frightens the people."

"Their arrgoance in parliament and at the UMNO general assembly must stop ... you can argue but don't be arrogant."

Keng Yaik also said: "Abdullah, as BN chief, had a lot of deep thinking to do in view of the strong message given by the people. If his advisers have been giving him the wrong advice, he must change them."

Dr Chua Soi Lek said the MCA problem is that the party is still singing an old song and the same old tune, leaving younger Chinese and non-Chinese voters unable to identify themselves with the party.

Dr Chua said it was the lack of addressing fresh issues that caused the debacle. He said the MCA had been overemphasising Chinse issues. "In multicultural Malaysia, not everyone is interested in how many scholarships or schools have been built for the Chinese. The problem is the party is still singing an old tune ..."

According to Dr Chua, MCA looks to be irrelevant. "No doubt the party has done a lot for the community in terms of education, but people are also interested in issues like the economy, safety and so on," Dr Chua explained.

Former MCA secretary-general Tan Sri Ting Chew Pei said MCA Leaders should not hide behind the excuse that the disastrous losses were due to winds of change."

Whatever said, it was all done with hindsight. Where forth is foresight? None? Blind leaders can't lead; they can only lead down the abyss.

The 12th General Election is only an appetiser.

Main course :
UMNO election or /Special UMNO general meeting - Pak Lah & KJ issue

Dessert:
MCA election - Ong Dynasty issue

UMNO and MCA power brokers and warlords are working around the clock now.

Enjoy your emperor's dinner:)

I don't think they have no foresight. The sign of discontent of minorities are already there. These Gerakan & MCA politicians just have no balls. If they were to made the above statements earlier, they would have been pounced by the UMNO youth.
In fact, UMNO youth have even publicly warned MCA not to challanged them.

But this retired Gerakan "Joker" and the resigned MCA Edisen Chuah have nothing more to lose, so why cann't they be bold enough to make the above statements earlier?

Lim Keng Yaik said it accurately.

".... Sack bad advisers, PM urged

By SIM LEOI LEOI and RAPHAEL WONG

PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik let rip on the last day of his office in Government by issuing the strongest advice to the Prime Minister.

Change the advisers because they are giving the wrong advice, which partly led to major losses for Barisan Nasional in the general election, the Gerakan adviser said.

Dr Lim, who retired from active politics last year, said although he still had confidence in Abdullah’s leadership, Abdullah had got to think a lot and much deeper on issues of the day and “do something.”

“There is no leadership issue. The advice given to him has been wrong. If his advisers have been giving the wrong advice, remove them all. If it’s been the right advice, why should we be here now?.... "

This is the main reason why Opposition gain tremendous victory. Many voted Opposition not that they like Opposition but no choice but to protest BN. Many BN supporters did not vote too. They are disgusted with KJ and the 4th floor boys!!!

Lim Keng Yaik, Chua Soi Lek and Ting Chew Pek......What a a grotesque trio, all flawed and tainted! Like as if they're themselves reformable! The sooner they disappear and fade from public consciousness, the better the morrow will be.
