Members of the Indian Muslim Youth wants to government to call them as Malays and not Indians.
"We feel uncomfortable to be known as Indians because people automatically think we are Hindus when we are actually Muslims," 24-year-old Syed Osman Mohamed said. Syed Osman is the son of Gepima (Malaysian Indian Muslim Youth Movement) president Mohamed Kader Ali.
Gepima president also said that "Muslims of Indian origin suffered an inferiority complex by being regarded as Indians."
"Our children do not even know how to speak Tamil. They only converse in Malay and our wives wear baju kurung or kebaya nowadays, no more the Saree."
Mohamed Kader said the Federal Constitution states that an Indian is a Malay "if he professes the Muslim religion, habitually speaks Malay and conforms to Malay custom."
"I can safely say that from wedding rituals to the food we eat and the language we speak, we conform to Malay customs all the way."

Anyway, there's some comforting news for the Indians.The Indian government has announced a scholarship programme for the children of persons of Indian origin and non-resident Indians.
The Indian High Commission said the scholarships were offered for undergraduate, professional and general courses in India for the academic year 2008-2009. However, the scholarships do not apply for medicine and medical-related courses.
The scholarship is 75 per cent of the institutional economic cost, which includes tuition and hostel fees and other charges, or US$3,600 (RM11,500), whichever is lesser.
And so, the Indians need not grief as the Indian government will assist them. For those Indians who are called Malays, I don't think you are eligible to apply; but you can apply JPA scholarships or others reserved for Bumiputeras.
The Chinese have to stay as Chinese Malaysians as China has not offered any scholarships for Chinese non-residents. The Chinese can apply to UTAR or TAR College for their education but the fees is similar to all other private colleges and universities. So the Chinese parents must work hard and save enough for their children's education.

many have and still do benefit from the grey area that they dwell in. i do not understand the inferiority complex, they are the only bumis who have can speak three languages, malay, english and tamil now isn't that an advantage in seeking employment? i didn't hear complaints from them when the going was good.

To me, these Indian muslims are just thick skinned mamak who want to enjoy all the benefit of the Malay/bumi Right, even at the expense of discarding their ethnic identity. Many others have done that too eg. the Pakistani, Arab & Indonesians etc. This is life mah. Cari makan!

I have just responded to the TRIVIA & RAMBLINGS of the fevered mind of Mr David Hoh my wife’s counsel & solicitor. I have written a lot that charged Judge Zainon binti Mohd. Ali with criminal behaviour and with aiding & abetting the 3 criminals Stephen Lim Cheng Ban, Wong Kem Chen & Kwong Sea Yoon.
In fact having written volumes on this subject, THE WHOLE STORY CAN BE SUMMED UP IN LAW BY JUST 2 QUESTIONS (1) For Judge Zainon binti Mohd. Ali, and (2)A 2nd question for Mr David Hoh.
(1)QUESTION FOR JUDGE ZAINON BINTI MOHD. ALI :
DID YOU NOT APPROVE 2 CONFLICTING APPLICATIONS TO THE RESPONDENTS (A)1ST APPROVED THEIR APPLICATION FOR SECURITY FOR COSTS; AND UPON ENFORCEMENT OF SAID ORDER FOR SECURITY FOR COSTS, YOU PROCEEDED FURTHER TO APPROVE TO RESPONDENTS AN ORDER FOR STRIKING OUT PETITION FOR ALLEGEDLY SHOWING NO CAUSE OF ACTION. You & respondents had ENFORCED THEIR SECURITY FOR COSTS BUT REFUSED TO ALLOW PETITIONER TO PROCEED TO TRIAL AS REQUIRED BY THE LAW OF CIVIL PROCEDURE.

No trial means no costs and security for costs means that petitioner’s money is set aside by the order for security for costs to FUCKING PAY FOR THE TRIAL IN CASE PETITIONER LOSE HER CASE.
It is that fucking simple and this Malaysian Federal Court Judge Zainon binti Mohd. Ali FUCKING APPROVED THE FUCKING ORDER FOR STRIKING OUT PETITION FOR SHOWING NO CAUSE OF ACTION. Is this not COMICAL, a fucking MALAYSIAN FEDERAL COURT JUDGE DOES NOT KNOW THE LAW.
Why has David Hoh (counsel for my wife) taken upon himself to DEFEND Judge Zainon binti Mohd. Ali ? He should be defending my wife ! I honestly can tell you why. Judge Zainon binti Mohd. Ali IS NOT FUCKING FLUENT IN ENGLISH. She fucking cannot write and speak ENGLISH, therefore she gets David to defend her in a public forum.
Let it be known that Judge Dato Zainon binti Mohd. Ali is a serving Federal Court Judge of Malaysia; and I say it with absolute confidence that Judge Zainon binti Mohd. Ali is an illiterate and I have called her on many times & at many public Bloggsites and I have written on many occasions with copy of letters to all & sundry that Judge Zainon Binti Mohd. Ali acted in a criminal manner and committed several criminal offences while she acted as the presiding judge of my wife’s case.
It is fucking disgraceful that Mr David Hoh had to ambush me in his letter printed in the Malaysian Today website. I always send a copy of any letter that I write to anyone and every letter that I posted on my BLOGG was received by the person that I write about; that is to allow the person to reply; but David Hoh wrote to Malaysian Today on the 1st of July but he did not in any way make it known to me of his letter. Therefore, I did not get the opportunity to reply until yesterday when I checked my achieve on GOOGLE.COM 4 fucking months ! David you are a fucking coward and a chicken shit. Anyway, he bloggs on the Malaysia Today website and I cannot get access to that website because I cannot afford to subscribe to Malaysia Today.

Hey! Dr Chandra Muzaffar are you trying to dazzle the poor Malaysians with your “Doctor” whatever that stands for; please la Doc. That Phd. Does not mean shit, It does not make you more intelligent and it does not neam that you are any smater than when you started. A Phd. Just means that you had taken an in depth study of one aspect of a subject and as a matter of fact a Phd merely leads to a career in teaching, Our Asian people are so awed by that Phd., thinking that these Phd. Types Know it all, nothing is further from the truth.
Comrade Chandra to my way of thinking, and by your claims made against Dato Seri, I say that you are bloody naïve. We are all humans (I think so) and we have emotions and full of bias and prejudices; and above all we are in truth all racist. I am racist & you are racist, and the only difference between a Mahatma Ghandi type saint and an ARYAN Nazi thug is that most of us who dare claim that he is not racist (you can leave me out because I am racist) are those who’ve got a two bit claim to having higher education, a wanna be intelltual. Comrade Chandra says that Dato Seri in the past had been consistently not in favour of Chinese and maybe he is truthful, while Dr Lim Kheng Yaik claims that Dato Seri is chamileon and in Lim Kheng Yaik’s experience with Dato Seri he could be speaking the truth. Bearing in mind that we all carry a lot of baggage are we correct in our estimation of the man. We are all very complex and we are all driven by self interests; therefore what oue see is not really what is the man ! We can never tell what a man will do in all circumstances because what we see as the man is only the tip of the iceberg.
Politics is all about perception and creating an IMAGE of the politician, and we just cannot know what the whole man is in truth. For Dr Chandra & Dr Lim Kheng Yaik to say that they both ahd worked with Dato Seri and that they know the man is ingenious. Both these Dr.’s are playing their support for the BN and not quite really to give an assessment of Dato Seri for what he is factually, because that will be beyond their capability. Having said that I say both of them are naïve THAT IS NOT HOW THE GAME OF POLITICS IS PLAYED. We can only take Dato Seri at his word and the issue is therefore ARE WE HAPPY WITH HIS PROGRAMME FOR HIS GOVERNMENT ? That to my mind is all that we need to ask and we will have to take him at his word; because we just cannot do otherwise. WE DO NOT NEED TO KNOW WHAT IN TRUTH HE IS LIKE AND THAT BY OUR UNDERSTANDING HE WILL OR WILL NOT DLIVER WHAT HE HAD PROMISED FOR THE ELECTION. There is no need to go too far out of the way; ask yourselves what had BN promised for the last election (1999) and did BN deliver ? I do not think so !
Dato Seri and the United Front of DAP, PAS and Keadilan HAS MADE IT THEIR PLATFORM that if elected he and his United Front will deliver a GOVERNMENT FOR ALL MALAYSIANS AND TO STEP BACK FROM RACE BASED POLITICS. That is what we must accept for the truth; and if he ever fail to deliver then the next election vote him and his United Front out. This is what will therefore develop into a TWO PARTY POLITICAL STRUCTURE. Is this not what we want, and what is the profit if we just not believe him and we merely take the word og the two Dr.’s both of them are pretentious and know it all. I say do not listen to them shooting hot air. VOTE OPPOSITION and let 2 party politics develop.
