Khaled Nordin: Bloggers unfair to Govt.

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said Bloggers had been unfairly treating the government by censoring feedback sent by government departments to their websites.

Khaled Nordin said the feedback was aimed at correcting inaccurate statements and false allegations about the Government, which appeared in some of the cyber articles.

He said the Government was not given a chance to explain certain issues to the people.

“There were articles criticising the Government. We also sent in many replies but they were removed by the bloggers,” he said.

Mohamed Khaled said the Government had in the past ignored such articles.

“We made a mistake. The blogs play an important role. The people read and believe what's said in the blogs.

“Now, we are looking at the blogs to respond to them but are prevented from doing so,” he said.

I just have a damn funny feeling... Bloggers are unfairly treating the government? Bloggers censoring govt's comment? Can any bloggers tell me when did they receive comments from government representatives' comment on their articles providing corrective statements about any false accusation? Or did they commenters posed as anonymous individuals or using monikers to make comment?

I am perplexed! I never knew the govt can claimed that they had been treated unfairly by bloggers. Bloggers had been called Monkeys, Gobloks, and all sorts of names; and now the govt claimed they had been discriminated and are going to the streets to perform demonstrations and protests to get attention and maybe sympathies. And Khir Toyo has become a blogger too; Lim Keng Yaik has also said he will be a blogger soon. Shahidan Kassim is a blogger now. Tajol Rosli and Koh Tsu Koon have yet to proclaim their intention. Khairy is also a blogger. Nazri says he doesn't read blogs. Who else?

Let me guess :
i. they never send any mail to bloggers, some blogger did not publish the email address
ii. They don't know how to use the comment options.

Or the worst case ;)
i. All the mail from gahmen are trap as spam
ii. All the comment from gahmen tare trap as spam by the comment anti-spam features

Or the better :
Those "feedback" are from umno cybertrooper. ;)
