Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today admitted that he met Saiful Bukhari Azlan a few days before the latter lodged a police report against Anwar Ibrahim for alleged sodomy.The admission by the deputy premier today was a shocker as previously he had acknowledged Saiful meeting his special officer three months ago to seek government scholarship.
At the time, he did not disclose about this personal meeting with Saiful.
"There are two elements. He (Saiful) came to the office to seek help for scholarship and he only met with my special officer.
"He (also) came to my house because he needed help because he was so traumatised, so that was it.
"He just came for help, that's all and he never met me when he came to my office," said the deputy premier.
Najib revealed the meeting when asked by reporters on his views behind Anwar's continuous attacks against him.
"I don't know, maybe he (Anwar) thinks I am the one behind the guy (Saiful). Actually there is no conspiracy, he came and saw me to complain that he had been sodomised by Anwar," said Najib.
Najib added he accepted the meeting with Saiful in his capacity as a government leader and the young man as a Malaysian citizen.
With his ‘revelation', Najib was pressed by reporters for more details on their meeting, including whether he believed the claims made by Saiful on the alleged sodomy.
In this, Najib said: "I was sceptical, I was not sure whether there was any basis or whether it was genuine or whatever it was. I was worried, so I said ‘look, it's up to you (to decide on the next course of action)."
But he also added that Saiful "looks genuine".
"I don't dare to say. He looks genuine as he was in fear, his hands were seram sejuk (cold) but I dare not draw a conclusion, I advised him that 'you decide for yourself'," said Najib.

Do you consider that he did not tell the truth earlier? or, he hid the truth? or, he forgot? Oh, it was half of the truth; but he did tell the truth! I think he forgotten about it. He just remembered today after his special adviser reminded him that he met up with Saiful in his house, and not in the office.

If such is the memory of Malaysia's DPM, he is obviously not fit to be the PM based on this physical attribute alone. Memory loss is likely to be a medical condition and he needs to be infirmed to get this treated.
Imagine if he was the PM and meeting with leaders of other countries. They may make some informal agreement on some matters and then ... Najib forgets that the meeting took place !
Then accusations will fly between the diplomatic channels and in the worse case scenario - severance of diplomatic ties (or worse) ... all due to memory loss.

In the news at 8 yesterday, Najib seems to deny that he is involve in any way in Altantuya's case. Najib looks weird with his movement language in giving statement to the press.
At the same time, Anwar is so desperate by suddenly reveal the new statement made by PI-ex Abdul Razak Baginda. The lawyer of the PI said that that was his allegatinons WHICH "he clarify them as hearsay but cannot assume that with strong evidence. the lawyer also said that he is just making allegations towards Najib.
Here's the question:
1)The court trial is currently in progress. Why did they making out this SD instead just head out to court to testify the cases?
2)Why wait till this moment to reveal his SD?
I'm having a bad feeling about this. The stockmarket has suspended yesterday caused by Anwar's action all these while. The public is becoming more anxiety and anger. Hopefully there will no "civil wars' among us.
If he was really to make a new reformation for the country, he should not do this way which only disrupt the economy and the peace of our country. I will be please to have the ISA detain and catch all these crook politician so that the situation will slow down. I dont like to see our develop country made by Tun M collapse in this way. You have to understand the court procedures and rules. As a witness you only answer what the prosecution asked or what the defence lawyer asked. As long as you are not asked on specific events even if you tell, the testimony would be expunged.
So, it would realistically be to wait until the hearing is closed and then file a SD.
The procedure done was correct; the intention unknown.
