Bhimu Patil, a researcher and director of Texas A&M's Fruit and vegetable Improvement centre says his scientists has discovered that a slice of cool, fresh watermelon has the same effect as Viagra.

According to the scientists, watermelon contains an ingredient called citruline that can trigger production of a compound that helps relax the body's blood vessels, similar to what happens when a man takes Viagra.

The citruline is found in the flesh and rind of watermelons. It reacts with the body enzymes when consumed in large quantities and is changed into arginine, an amino acid that benefits the heart and the circulatory system.

Arginine boosts nitric oxide which relaxes the blood vessels and which treats erectile dysfunction.

Caveat: you need to eat about 6 cups of watermelon to get enough citruline to the body system to boost the arginine level.

Effect: You will tend to run to the toilet more.

Caution: Not suitable for backdoor usage.
