Food but no new clothes

Famous Quote

Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi latest message to the people of Malaysia:

"Never mind if you cannot buy new clothes,
"Never mind if you cannot buy new cars.
"Never mind if you cannot change new cushions
"we must have enough food ...
"This is important!

Let's pray that we have enough food if we have no new clothes, new cars or new cushions!

to a positive side, yes we do need food more than we need new cars, new clothes and new cushions.we are just so damn spoiled that we want all the things brand new.

when he have enough food that dont mean to eat like a pig and eat as much as you can.yes, once in a while it's ok to dine outside and experience some expensive cuisine.

with no new clothes,we can still wear the clothes that we have in our drawer or closet.i only buy new clothes when i need to buy them and not just to fill the lust of having to pack my closet with some different new clothes.

u gain weight then u have to buy new clothes.who the heck ask you not to watch what you eat?go to trim the fat down now.

kalau kita tanya mana-mana negara miskin, kita tanya mereka samada mereka pilih makanan atau pakaian dahulu.

jawapannya mesti makanan.

Sometimes when I read the statements from our PM and his ministers, I don't know whether to laugh or to cry...

Laugh also got no laughter sound. Cry also got no tears man.

The quality of the Cabinet reflects the state of the country Bunch of jokers lah!

Abdullah is a good man who has a wrong sense of urgency and priorities. He has become the frustration of a nation for different reasons to each.

He means well but does not talk well. He means well but unfortunately, he does not do well.

I think our PM should get to know BayiSingh. I am sure BayiSingh will not mind giving him some tips about investing and business management. Malaysia is so rich in resources and yet we have to struggle to make sure the rakyat have some new clothes, cushions and even food.

What a shame!

Maverick SM said...

Abu,

Laugh, if you wanted to; just don't cry as mere words from thoughts with no affirmative solutions are heresy.

Engkaulah,

I agree he is a good man but I do not agree that it was a wrong sense of urgency; in fact the urgency is real. What is puzzling is - it is too simplistically spoken.

daif,

I agree with you. BayiSingh should meet up with PM.

What else can we say but "THE MAN'S BRILLIANT".

The rest of us layman/rakyat would have never realised it had THE MAN not voiced it for our benefit.

BRILLIANT. SIMPLY BRILLIANT.

As always. :)

Raison D'etre,

Yes, brilliant!!!
