The game went into extra time after the score was tied 3-3 on aggregate.
Then, Ronaldo's spot kick was saved; the second by Kaka was also saved. Casillas saved two to put Madrid back into contention. It was Ramos turn; he ballooned it to the sky and Schweinsteiger scored the decisive kick for Bayern. It was all over; Bayern are through to the final to meet Chelsea.
Real Madrid has to concentrate on the La Liga now - that's the only trophy left for them.
