Is there a hidden mystery? Or, is there another conspiracy theory unfolding?
Tajuddin Ramli claimed he was directed by former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir and former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin to buy shares in MAS to help Bank Negara recover from foreign exchange losses in 1994.
The transaction was a national service but was disguised as an arm's length commercial deal because the government wanted it that way.
Tajuddin was at all times only a nominee/agent of the government in MAS.
He was assured repeatedly by Mahathir and Daim that he would not suffer any losses or be held liable for anything arising from his purchase of the MAS shares.
Tajuddin seems going for broke, either to save his skin because he is facing a RM589 million suit by Danaharta and therefore he has to counter sue RM13.46 billion.
Why did he had to do that? If it is a national service, then Danaharta would or should not have sued him? Didn't Danaharta know about it? Or, he is pre-warning to explode the pandora box if the case is not laid to rest 6 feet down under.
There is something sinister going on. It seems that the tale of the Pawns in the Game is unfolding which would far exceed the thrills and pomps of Da Vinci Code.
Will it be a true story, a tale or fable of international intrigue, corruption, graft, and political assassinations, which are both sensational and shocking?
If revealed, will it shake the beliefs of the nation to their core? The amount of counterclaim by Tajuddin is staggering. The occasion he decides to publicize at a time of political clash between the two regimes are such coincidental and perplexing.
Will someone in the likeness of Zam come forward to seek mediation so that the whole episode will be buried down under the 18th floor of hell?
Are we seeing an invisible game in play? I ponder!!!
