They were afraid that Balik Pulau will turned into a concrete jungle. Preserving the green lungs was the top priority.
However, someone came and tell them that they are left behind because they are marginalised.
Then together, they shout Undur Lah Koh!
Now the records were reviewed to justify.
Development proposals in Balik Pulau were discussed at length during the UMNO division’s meetings. “We decided that we wanted development but at the same time, we wanted to keep it green,” Balik Pulau Umno division chief Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya said.
According to Dr Hilmi, there was resistance to development previously, but now, they wanted it and had decided to open up certain areas for development and housing.
The fact that they want development now, and right now, would mean that they must get it immediately; if not, they shouted "Marginalisation" and Undur Lah!
Juxtaposed? or, conspiracy theory at work?

Hilmi apologises over wing’s protest
An embarrassed Balik Pulau Umno division chief Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya has apologised for the protest staged by its Youth division at the opening of the Tanjung Umno division premises.
Dr Hilmi, who is also Finance Ministry parliamentary secretary and Balik Pulau MP, said he was shocked and embarrassed by the action of the Youth wing at the premises, which Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi opened yesterday.
“I didn’t know about this until I saw the banners. I’m very embarrassed and sorry it happened,” he told reporters here.
Balik Pulau Umno Youth members held banners with messages demanding the state freeze its housing policy and accusing Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon of neglecting the Malays.
Dr Hilmi said the protest on the housing policy was related to development in Balik Pulau that was discussed at length during the division’s meetings.
“We decided that we wanted development but at the same time, we wanted to keep it green,” he said.
Previously, Dr Hilmi said there was resistance to development but now, they had decided to open up certain areas for development and housing while keeping the rest of the area green to avoid creating a concrete jungle.

Have u ever heard developement vs environmental? There is no equal solution, unless they follow the proper guildline. I believe that some people are strongly against developement then the other complain about left out of developement. Same thing happen on my project, some stuburn villangers not allow us to upgrade the river or using their access, then everytime got flood blame on us. What the hell?!
