Crime Spree in Selangor is safe?

OPs! Tutup!

Selangor state police chief, Datuk Ismail Omar, admitted that Selangor police is not ready to deal with a major crime based on the mock drill (codename: Ops Tutup) of a multi-million ringgit "robbery" yesterday.

Despite being informed 2-weeks earlier of a possible "major-crime" and despite deploying 1,200 police personnel, the "robbers" escaped with half the loot.

"There were problem with co-ordination," Datuk Ismail Omar admitted.

The "robbery" was committed by 7-men armed with parangs and axes. They struck at the MASKargo warehouse at KLIA and fled with RM88.6 million loots stashed in 10 boxes.

Less than 30 minutes after the robbery at 9.30am, some 1,200 police personnel were mobilized and more than 50 roadblocks set up state-wide. Despite all that, the robbers escaped except some motorist who received summons for talking on their handphone and other inchoate offences.

I was caught in the traffic jam everywhere in KL. I didn't know it was Ops Tutup. Everywhere, there is roadblocks. I saw quite some number of cars being summoned for, probably, traffic offences. I was also asked to stop because they claim I was talking on my handphone. But I was using bluetooth wireless set? I think they saw my mouth talking while driving. Is that wrong? Anyway, they let me off.

The robbers were lucky as they managed to escape with the loots and some others were also lucky; but not the motorists!!!
