i thot drive faster mean save more petrol........ you don need step much accel at full gear
how can driving slow save petrol? the consumption of petrol is based on the distance, right? so slow or fast to reach somewhere still same petrol consumption.

hahahaha cute!
no you drive slow, you save more.
What happened if you get stuck in traffic jam, switch off the engine, get out and walk, save more fuel!!!
cuntfused
lol! people have weird ways to cope with the rising petrol price.
but to be honest, i hate those slow drivers, especially when i'm late for work in the morning.

the engine fuel consumption depends on the specs efficiency of the engine and also the aero-dynamics of the car.
eg. for proton wira, i think it's about 110Km/h. some other models ranges from 90 - 130 km/h.
it is normally stated in your car manual. take a look.

Denzook,
You drive fast in Kl then you have to brake more and change gear (for lorries), thus consume more petrol.
HuntressMoon,
Ya, you are right, particularly, in KL.
Cuntfused,
You have a good idea; maybe, you should try.
Hopeful,
Well, slow is safer especially in jammed roads and heavy traffic situations.
Lucia,
You are right partly; drive fast in heavy traffic roads means you must brake more times thus consume more fuel.
