Tok Guru: DAP tidak pernah tipu PAS

DAP tidak pernah tipu PAS.

Begitulah pengakuan Tuan Guru Nik Aziz semasa ditemubual akhbar Siasah.

(Source: Siasah edisi 20 - 26 Julai).

During a press conference at the PAS headquarters in Kuala Lumpur today PAS Youth chief Salahuddin Ayub affirmed that PAS will not turn its back on principles even if Umno offered the Islamic opposition party the prime minister's position.

"We will definitely oppose anyone who tempt us into accepting positions because we belong to a principled party," he said.

Salahuddin stressed that PAS is governed by values and a strong mandate from voters.

"We are not interested in any of their (Umno) offerings even if they offer me the post of prime minister," he said.

"(If) We accept this (the positions) today, in future the coming generations will curse, hate and no longer respect us," he added.

Source: Malaysiakini: 'Even PM post cannot tempt us'

This is the true values of PAS and this is what Islam is: Integrity, Humility and Virtuousness.

There's a lot Umno had to learn, in particular, Khir Toyo and Pak Lah.

For if PAS could uphold these principles and that such principles becomes the core shared values of all the Muslims, which in turn would gain confidence and built trust and respects from the non-Muslims, then all the citizens would be ready to accept an Islamic State. Islamic state must abide by the values and principles as enunciated in the Quran minus those selfish and self-styled morality and behaviorism. People must be motivated and educated through love and respect for each other when promoting the rules of morality and conduct; not by enforcement, undue influence or the use of coercion.

Same race, diff parties...

Same religion, diff core values...

One with Integrity, the other with Hypocrisy.

One with Humility, the other with Arrogance.

One with Virtuousness, the other with Immoral, Depraved, Degrading, Lewdness, Lasciviousness, Bigotry & Obscenity habits & livings.

True teachings of the religion?

Tok Guru or Tok Hardharry ?

DAP tak pernah tipu kamu sebab belum sampai masa lagi. Tetapi atas desakan kuasa, semua tu sanggup diketepikan. Macam mana laa mereka ni berfikir?

If PAS can convince everyone that the party truly espouses Islamic values, then UMNO is doomed.

DAP has been consistent in their view of PAS's vision of Islamic agenda. It's easier for PAS to deal with it.

PAS mustn't be too hasty in making decisions. And they shouldn't be driven by the need to be in power.

People must be motivated and educated through love and respect for each other when promoting the rules of morality and conduct; not by enforcement, undue influence or the use of coercion.

I agree, but I think PAS must really look at the fundamental teachings in Islam and not just come up with rules, regulations and laws in the name of Islam without analysing them in depth. (the laws imposed esp on women in Kelantan for example) Islam is not a rigid religion. It evolves and is relevant up till today. The failure to interprete it is our main weakness.

Dituduhnya UMNO pernah menipu mereka. Kemudian Nik Aziz back up DAP dengan mengatakan DAP tak pernah tipu PAS. Tunggu je lah. Belum masanya lagi DAP tunjuk belang pada PAS. Jangan nanti bila dah terkena dengan DAP baru nak 'rujuk' dengan UMNO...

Samad,

[quote]Dengan UMNO yang dah tentu bangsa Melayu dan Islam, tak nak pula bersatu. [quote]

Kalau UMNO tu Islam dan mengikut ajaran Islam, mereka takkan menipu, menindas, menyalahgunakan kuasa, mengambil rasuah, dan macam macam lagi yang menyalahi agama, bukan sahaja agama Islam but other religions as well.

Are you sure that they are actually following the values of their religion?

Samad,

Yelah samad bangap le kau ni. Apa yang orang UMNO buat tu bukan cara Islam. Kalau cara Islam melayu dah tak miskin sebab negara ini kaya, tapi malang melayu masih tergolong miskin walaupun sudah 50 tahun UMNO memerintah negara.

PAS used to pact with UMNO back then in 1974.and now there are thing going on about them joining again.

i dont think that they will pact again with UMNO.

1974 and 2008 is both different period of time and both have different leaders on that period of time respectively.and might as well both have different approach in handling matters.

if the talk is for good, then why not?.make up your stance and decide which is better.if dont wanna continue with talk, then fine.just call it off.no mess,no fuss.

about DAP,PAS and DAP both have different policy and agenda.perhaps right now DAP dont have the intention to cheat on PAS but what about later on?.

for example,Guan Eng said that DAP dont want to have anything to do with the talks but Kalpar said otherwise.Kalpar wants explanation on why PAS did the talks with UMNO.

Optional,

If there's a need to identify a Malay liar, you are a good example. Ypu tried hard to promote racialism and concoct a devil out of the other races to justify your bigotry and you are so similar to Umno! Perjuangan apa?

Gongkaukau,

You are correct.

Hiduptg,

You are right.

Hopeful,

I agree with your concerns on the application and enforcements of behaviorism and supervisory rules of individual conduct.

Samad,

You most preferred those who would betray you just because they can identify with you. I am sorry you are blind in thoughts and unable to discern with all the empirical observations and phenomenas.

Rasuah is Islam? ISA is Islamic? Discrimination is Islam? I am afraid you don't even understand the virtues of Islam.

Modern Youth,

You posed the possibility that DAP will cheat PAS later! What about Umno cheating the people now? What about all those cheatings, lying, corruption, murder and conspiracies that is stongly promoted within the ruling regime? Is that what you prefer to accept and condone because you fear DAP will cheat in the future? All the cheating within Umno and BN are present now and you can accept it? Have you hear of proton Perdana repair costing RM137,000? and you don't sense any cheating can be implied? What about Altantunya's death and the deletion of her records at Immigration? You don't sense that's cheating, isn't it? You have failing thoughts!

The talk or muzakarah has got nothing to do with malay unity & islam.

In UMNO, its about using pas to protect their self-interest & consolidate their power.

Tabik to Tok Guru who saw all those umno devils in disguise...

A liar knows no creed, colour nor religion. Similarly, we don't reject an ideal and a principle because another teaching different to ours also uphold it. I think it is fair that PAS is wary of UMNO, once bitten, twice shy. That is why I never believed in the talks that they'll merge, that they're similar in many aspects is outweighed by their secular differences, and this is where they lock heads - their ego, their practices, their political outlook. Absolutely no need for any discussion here to be coloured by any racial undertone.

Anonymous said...

Yup, this disscussion should not be coloured by any racial undertone.

Can't deny that DAP is being fair to PAS as its alliance, which in the mean time not betraying or cheating on PAS.

Can't comment anything further. Will have to see what will happen in the future time ahead.

Anonymous said...

since this discussion here might tend to get more touch on the racial sensitivity side,i therefore cease to comment on this topic any longer.i've said what i wanna say.we all have different opinions.

it's not that i wave a white flag here.just that i wanna avoid from things to get worse by my words.

the end.thank you.

without tok guru wisdom, pas would surely got saifuled by umno by now.

Maverick

Tok Guru Nik Aziz indeed a wise man, reminds me of Master OogWay; unfortunately PAS President - DS Hadi Awang do not have qualities of a good leader. Very sad and he need to be replaced wiyth one with strong beliefs in integrity, transparency, and non-selfishness to be Prime Minister @ Prime Monkey.

Dato Husam Musa is best fit for PAS Presidency.

The snake will not ask whether one is a PAS or UMNO member before it bite. It's better to kill both with one bite.

Avatar,

You are welcome and I will reciprocate.

PPD,

I think I share your view.

SeeFei,

Good observation.

!ALL4PR,

You must be a PR supporter.

Tanie,

I really admire your thoughts and directions in observations. I strongly agree that there is no need for colored discussions based on racial undertones. My concern is more of observatory phenomena, motive and mens rea.

Wisdomthinker,

I am with you in your observation and directions. 100% agree with you.

Modern Youth,

Thank you for your resilience.

JJ,

You have a good point.

Oris,

I agree with you about Tok Guru and I disagree with you on Hadi Awang. Hadi is a great leader and you must have wrongly interpreted him.

Anaconda,

I can't see the rational of this statement in relation to the topical discussions.

Being bitten by two different snake is almost normal.

Being bitten by snakes from the same hole twice, you got to be kidding me.

sir mave,

rasuah and discrimination is not limited to party, it is the PERSON. Is everyone in UMNO truly "islamic"? We have to remember they are politicians too. ANd any party, there will be a tendency to sway to the negative side of things when there is power and money. Give PR a few more years, months? Then they'd end up just like umno too.

I agree with merdekame. Point saying, where got politicians in this world (ahem or Msia) so saintly? So skip the partisan biased comments and realize that POLITICIANS will be POLITICIANS. You do see discrimination and power abuse in PR too, even now.
