Story: Talking Frog

The man is 85 years old and loves to fish.

He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say, 'Pick me up.'

He looked around and couldn't see any one.

He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again, 'Pick me up.'

He looked over the side and there, floating in the water, was a frog.

The man said, 'Are you talking to me?'

The frog said, 'Yes, I'm talking to you. Pick me up, then kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride!'

The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front breast pocket.

Then the frog said, 'What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said? I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride.'

He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said,

'Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog.'

With age comes wisdom.

Story: The Bathtub

During a visit to the mental hospital, she asked the Doctor:

'How do you determine whether or not a patient should be admitted to the hospital.'

'Well,' said the Doctor: 'we fill up a bathtub, then we give a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him to empty the bathtub.'

'Oh, I understand,' she responded, 'A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup.'

'No.' replied the Doctor, 'A normal person would pull the drain plug.

Well........ Do you want a bed near the window?'

Opening up the mindset? Toyo's Paradigm Shift

Khir Toyo plays the reformist
By Neville Spykerman
@ The Malaysian Insider

SHAH ALAM, April 25 — Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, who is known to be a champion of the "Malay unity" cause, is now urging the government to open up more of the economy to non-Malays.

The Selangor opposition leader, who had been critical of the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) for appointing a non-Bumiputera to head PKNS last year, also wants more government jobs to be given to non-Malays.

In an interview with The Malaysian Insider yesterday, the former Selangor mentri besar said the New Economic Policy (NEP) policy had failed to meet its targets and should be reformulated in line with the prime minister’s 1 Malaysia vision.

He said the measures were necessary if BN wanted to attract lost support from the non-Malay communities and young voters in the next general election.

“Real changes and not window dressing are needed in order for Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s 1 Malaysia vision to become reality.”

He said in his opinion, 1 Malaysia meant the country belonged to all races and no one should be left out economically.

Dr Mohd Khir also urged the government to open more sub-sectors to non-Malays especially in local authorities and for more government jobs to be set aside for them.

He pointed out that the Indian community was especially in need of help.

“I realised this a bit too late, and only during my fifth year as mentri besar, because I was not told about how bad things were for them.”

He said he only knew something was seriously wrong when informed by the police that 40 per cent of crimes committed involved the Indian community. He said he was shocked to learn that some estate workers earned between RM400 and RM500 a month only when he visited an estate in Kuala Selangor. He claimed that he then set aside RM3 million annually for them.

Dr Mohd Khir said the new Najib administration had made a mistake by abolishing the Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Ministry as it could have been reformed and used as a vehicle to develop entrepreneurs among all races.

“Special attention should still be given to Malays but deputy ministers should be appointed to look after the Indian and Chinese communities.”

***********************************************************************************

Khir Toyo admitted that he only realized this a bit too late, only after his fifth term as MB, and only after he was booted out of Selangor and the government, and also Umno, could he have the courage to admit.

I ponder what he actually meant though I welcome his current view. I haven't seen a leopard change its skin. Maybe, we are seeing one now.

False police report lodged against Malaysiakini

A movement calling itself Gagasan Melayu Perak (GMP) has lodged a police report against Malaysiakini over a news report which the website had not published.

In the police report, GMP president Mohd Hilmi Ismail claimed that Malaysiakini had published an article insulting the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah, and Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Dr Nazrin Shah.

The said article, headlined ‘Raja Nazrin defends monarchy against ridicule’, was allegedly published by Malaysiakini on Tuesday.

GMP hoped that the Ministry of Information, Communications and Culture would take action against the website for abusing information technology without considering the implication on national security.

But a check revealed that no such report was published by the online news daily.

Malaysiakini contacted GMP this morning to seek clarification over the police report and was told by Mohd Hilmi that he was not aware if Malaysiakini had carried such a report before going to the police.

“I didn’t know about the said article. I was informed by my staff and I lodged a report,” he said.

When asked if he realised that he could have tarnished Malaysiakini reputation with his police report, Mohd Hilmi asked: “Isn’t Malaysiakini the same as Malaysian Today or some other blogs?”

About an hour after contacting Mohd Hilmi, GMP's legal advisor Nor Ali Nordin called Malaysiakini to apologise for their error.

"My president (Mohd Hilmi) just spoke to me and we would like to apologise to Malaysiakini for our mistake," he said.

GMP also blamed Utusan Malaysia for confusing the issue and naming Malaysiakini in its report.

"We have informed Utusan Malaysia to make the necessary corrections," said the unsigned statement from the movement's legal advisor.

********************************************************************************

Is Malaysiakini the same as Malaysian Today or Malaysia Today? GMP didn't know!

But Malaysia Today is already dead! RPK had pronounced the death of Malaysia Today long time ago. The son of Malaysia Today is mt.m2day.org. How could a president of an organization not know this? How could he not know the difference between Malaysiakini and Malaysia Today? Did he know mothers are women, and wife are women too? Did he not know 1Malaysia or Negara Ku? Didn't we have Tanjung Rambutan and Tampoi? Didn't they have proper security for the people? Didn't .... ah, never mind lah!

Najib & the Bumi Equity paradox

Datuk Seri Najib Razak today freed the country's services sector by ending the 30 percent Bumiputera equity rule.

The Prime Minister, who is also the finance minister, promised further liberalisation, saying that he would announce details of the liberalisation of the financial sector next week.

I hope Najib knows what he is doing. The consequence of this decision will impair on the "Dream NEP" and cause the 30% equity acquisition policy to falter.

Someday, the Umnos and the cronic NGOs are going to blame eveyone else on this policy and cry-jihad with pendatangs who become rich for whatsoever reasons, related and unrelated to the policy change.

Mr. Najib, maybe, it is far better to keep the old policy and let the kleptocrats thrive.

Khir Toyo's Sermon

"When you do something bad to people, one day God will do something bad to you. Wait and see! Time will tell."

- - Khir Toyo.

How true; how true.

The last time I heard of this phrase, it was pronounced by a rapist in the court when he claimed that the judge was unfair to him.

Even kleptomaniac believed in God and uses God's name to spread gospel of the truth.

Unfortunately, it is observed that God blessed the corrupts and make them rich. Maybe, it is not true, but the phenomena of this world seemed to suggest as such.

Bayi Story: Pride

A man has six children and is very proud of his achievement. He is so proud of himself, that he starts calling his wife,"Mother of Six" in spite of her objections.

One night, they go to a party. The man decides that it's time to go home and wants to find out if his wife is ready to leave as well.

He shouts at the top of his voice, "Shall we go home now, 'Mother of six?'"

His wife, irritated by her husband's lack of discretion, shouts right back, "Anytime you're ready, Father of four."

Story: Canon Shots

The Smiths were unable to conceive children and decided to use a surrogate father to start their family. On the day the proxy father was to arrive, Mr. Smith kissed his wife goodbye and said, "Well, I'm off now. The man should be here soon."

Half an hour later, just by chance, a door-to-door baby photographer happened to ring the doorbell, hoping to make a sale. "Good morning, Ma'am", he said, "I've come to..."

"Oh, no need to explain," Mrs. Smith cut in, embarrassed, "I've been expecting you."

"Have you really?" said the photographer. "Well, that's good. Did you know babies are my specialty?"

"Well that's what my husband and I had hoped. Please come in and have a seat".

After a moment she asked, blushing, "Well, where do we start?"

"Leave everything to me. I usually try two in the bathtub, one on the couch, and perhaps a couple on the bed. And sometimes the living room floor is fun. You can really spread out there."

"Bathtub, living room floor? No wonder it didn't work out for Harry and me!"

"Well, Ma'am, none of us can guarantee a good one every time. But if we try several different positions and I shoot from six or seven angles, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results."

"My, that's a lot!", gasped Mrs. Smith.

"Ma'am, in my line of work a man has to take his time. I'd love to be In and out in five minutes, but I'm sure you'd be disappointed with that."

"Don't I know it," said Mrs. Smith quietly.

The photographer opened his briefcase and pulled out a portfolio of his baby pictures. "This was done on the top of a bus," he said.

"Oh, my word!" Mrs. Smith exclaimed, grasping at her throat.

"And these twins turned out exceptionally well - when you consider their mother was so difficult to work with."

"She was difficult?" asked Mrs. Smith.

"Yes, I'm afraid so. I finally had to take her to the park to get the job done right. People were crowding around four and five deep to get a good look"

"Four and five deep?" said Mrs. Smith, her eyes wide with amazement.

"Yes", the photographer replied. "And for more than three hours, too. The mother was constantly squealing and yelling - I could hardly concentrate, and when darkness approached I had to rush my shots. Finally, when the squirrels began nibbling on my equipment, I just had to pack it all in."

Mrs. Smith leaned forward. "Do you mean they actually chewed on your, uh...equipment?"

"It's true, Ma'am, yes.. Well, if you're ready, I'll set-up my tripod and we can get to work right away."

"Tripod?"

"Oh yes, Ma'am. I need to use a tripod to rest my Canon on. It's much too big to be held in the hand very long."

Mrs. Smith fainted.

Banking scam via the phone

M Krishnamoorthy | Apr 12, 09 5:53pm
Malaysiakini.com

The next time you get a call or SMS from a commercial bank or even Bank Negara requesting to confirm a credit card transaction for the purchase of goods or services, be careful.

Bank Negara has reminded the public not to disclose their personal banking information to any unknown party without verification.

Based on recent complaints received by Bank Negara, there has been an increase in incidents of banking fraud carried out via the phone.

In a press statement recently, Bank Negara has cautioned the public to be vigilant when receiving any calls or SMS claiming that it is from Bank Negara or any commercial banks.

The fraudsters have been making calls and sending SMS to unknowing members of the public in order to fraudulently obtain their personal banking information, with the aim of siphoning money from one's account.

From Bank Negara’s investigations, the modus operandi of the scam is as follows:

1) Victim receives SMS or telephone call requesting confirmation on a credit card transaction for the purchase of goods or services purportedly charged to the victim's credit card.

2) When victim calls the telephone number provided in the SMS, the fraudster will identify himself or herself as an agent of a commercial bank, and again, ask the victim to confirm whether the credit card transaction had taken place.

3) When victim informs the fraudster that he has no such credit card or transaction, the fraudster will start to sound concerned and will advise victim to lodge a report with Bank Negara’s 'Unit Kad Kredit Palsu', or with the commercial bank's 'credit card management department'.

The fraudster will provide the victim with the telephone number for the 'Unit Kad Kredit Palsu'.

4) When victim calls the telephone number provided, they are greeted by a automated voice message which identifies the company as Bank Negara Malaysia, and the call will then be answered by someone claiming to be a Bank Negara Malaysia officer. This officer will request for information relating to the victim's banking and credit card accounts under the pretense of lodging a complaint on behalf of the victim.

5) The fraudsters now have sufficient information to illegally transfer funds out of the victim's bank account.

Clarification from Bank Negara

Bank Negara has also clarified that:

* There is no department called “Unit Kad Kredit Palsu” in Bank Negara Malaysia;

* 8659-XXXX is not a Bank Negara telephone line; and

* Bank Negara will NEVER request for personal banking information through SMS or telephone calls.

To contact Bank Negara for more details on the above - Tel: 1-300-88-5465, Fax: (03) 2174 1515, E-mail: bnmtelelink@bnm.gov.my

One Malaysia belongs to Awang Selamat

Figuring out OneMalaysia
by The Malaysian Insider

What is One Malaysia? This has been troubling supporters of Umno since Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak announced it in his maiden speech as prime minister nine days ago.

Today, the Umno-owned Mingguan Malaysia refuted that connotation in an opinion piece and put in perspective that One Malaysia means affirmative action policies will continue.

In his opinion piece headlined ‘Satu Malaysia versi sebenar’ Awang Selamat allayed fears that Najib will end the NEP and ensure equality for all.

“Awang hopes the true version of One Malaysia is understood clearly. The affirmative policies to help the Malays who are left behind (compared to other races) will continue.

I think OneMalaysia means people like Awang Selamat and his families will continue to enjoy the privilege over and above everyone else. Just make them rich without effort and Awang and his cohort will be selamat. Otherwise, we will be in shit.

Story: I shot the robbers

George was going up to bed, when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window.

George opened the back door to go turn off the light, but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked "Is someone in your house?" He said "No." Then they said "All patrols were busy. You should lock your doors and an officer will be along when one is available."

George said, "Okay" He hung up the phone and counted to 30.

Then he phoned the police again. "Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now because I just shot them." and hung up.

Within five minutes, six Police Cars, a SWAT Team, a Helicopter, two Fire Trucks, a Paramedic, and an Ambulance showed up at the Phillips' residence and caught the burglars r ed-handed.

One of the Policemen said to George, "I thought you said that you shot them!"

George said, "I thought you said there was nobody available!"

Nik Aziz: I had a Dream

Perak DAP leader Nga Kor Ming receives the blessing of PAS spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat for reciting the Quranic verses.

Nik Aziz penned: "I can understand the feeling of disappointment in your heart, particularly with 'Umno's unfriendly attitude' towards this healthy inclination to learn about Islam of the Chinese and Indian communities."

"This (Nga's action) will only heighten the awareness among non-Muslims to research, study and hold forums on Islam in a widespread manner," Nik Aziz added.

Citing the famous line from Dr Martin Luther King Jr, Tok Guru Nik Aziz said that he too 'has a dream'.

"I have a dream. That in the not so distant future, there will be more individuals from the Chinese, Indian, Siamese, Bajau and Kadazan communities who will step forward to become Qari, Ustaz, Khatib and Imam (Islamic figureheads)," he said.

Delving into history, the spiritual leader said Genghis Khan had led the Moghul army to attack and destroy almost the entire Islamic civilization in Baghdad, but his grandson Aurangzeb had later created an Islamic empire in India.

"Therefore I have strong faith that Islam's glory will be restored in this nation through such methods and similar incidents (the controversy surrounding Nga).

"Maybe YB (Nga) is the person who will lay the foundation stone (to achieve this end)," he added.

In view of this, Nik Aziz said steps must be undertaken to hold seminars and dialogues that dwell on topics such as 'Where has Islam gone wrong?' or 'What is the message of the al-Quran for non-Muslims'.

The spiritual leader ended his letter by saying, "I thank Allah for your (Nga) strength and courage. Remain steadfast in facing these tests."

"God willing, I am witnessing the flicker of a candle in the distance. Let us proceed there together."

YB Encik Nga Kor Ming
EXCO Kerajaan Negeri Perak
Pejabat EXCO Negeri Perak
30000 Ipoh
PERAK DARUL RIDZUAN.

Saya mempunyai sebuah impian.

Story: The Malaysian in London

Johan, a 'young' Malaysian tourist on his first visit to London , locates the red light district and enters a large brothel.

The madam asks him to be seated and sends over a young lady to entertain the client.. They sit and talk, frolic a little, giggle a bit, drink a bit, and she sits on his lap. He whispers in her ear and she gasps and runs away!

Seeing this, the madam sends over a more experienced lady to entertain the gentleman. They sit and talk, frolic a little, giggle a bit, drink a bit, and she sits on his lap. He whispers in her ear and she screams, "No!" and walks away quickly.

The madam is surprised that this ordinary-looking man has asked for something so outrageous that her two girls will have nothing to do with it. She decides that only her most experienced lady, Lola, will do. So the madam sends her over to Johan. They sit and talk, frolic a little, ! giggle a bit, drink a bit, and she sits on his lap. He whispers in her ear and she screams, "NO WAY, BUDDY!", smacks him as hard as she can, and literally runs away too!

Madam is absolutely intrigued, having seen nothing like this in all her years of operating a brothel. She hasn't done the bedroom work herself for a long time. She's sure she has said yes at one time or another to everything a man could possibly ask for.

The challenge is irresistible. So she goes over to Johan and says that she's the best in the house and she, herself, is available. She sits and talks with him.. They frolic a bit, giggle a bit, drink a little, and she sits in his lap. And then Johan leans forward and whispers! in her ear, .........

New Cabinet - Mahathir's wish list minus Mahathir's authoritarianism?

Prime Minister Najib acknowledged that the era of an over-authoritative government which maintained a 'government knows best' attitude is over.

"The people have sent a message that they want a government that is responsive towards their needs and ready to serve the next generation," Najib said this in his speech at the administrative capital of Putrajaya today.

Najib called on his new cabinet to serve with humility, dedication and commitment.

Najib said his new cabinet will now be measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve its efficiency. The job of overseeing the KPIs will be held by minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Gerakan president Dr Koh Tsu Koon.

The new government will be aided by a council of financial advisors who will have equal power to cabinet ministers and will report directly to him.

The premier said it is crucial that the new team is guided by shared values that are demonstrated through integrity and high standards to retain the confidence of the people, talents and capabilities that are much needed in these challenging times, loyalty to the party and government, enthusiasm and passion to build a competent nation in the new century.

"May this new cabinet be not only a change of faces, but also a reorganisation of roles and portfolios. This new cabinet shall represent the approach of a new government that will be more transparent, responsible and focused on prioritising the people," he added.

BN's sexy girls fish for votes

Reported by Malaysiakini.com

They came in droves for the dinner bash last night at Kampung Sepetang, Taiping, and the crowd of about 1,500 were definitely hooked.

The bait was simply irresistible. Nope. It was not the delectable spread of steam fish and herbal chicken but rather three scantily clad women.

It is a dinner organised by Barisan Nasional to lure votes for the upcoming Bukit Gantang parliamentary by-election, where Chinese support is crucial.

Donning BN-blue tank-tops, hot pants with 'fishnet' stockings and boots, the girls sizzled the inhabitants of the Kampung Baru Sepetang fishing village.

Among the top leaders enjoying the show was Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the newly-elected Umno vice-president and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in-charge of Islamic affairs.

Also present at the dinner was BN candidate for Bukit Gantang Ismail Saffian.

When questioned whether such performances would translate into votes for BN, Ahmad Zahid said that they were a "part of the Chinese culture".

Zahid said: "We also respect Chinese customs. In fact, we should respect the customs of all races."

"For example, only 20 percent of the voters in my constituency are Chinese. However, I still visit Chinese temples and attend Chinese funerals," he said.

"By using women to lure voters, she said, BN government is enabling and encouraging a sexist culture," Selangor Community Awareness Association (Empower)president Maria Chin Abdullah said in a statement today.

I agree this is very much a Chinese culture. I applaud Ahmad Zahid Hamidi for showing such great respect and admiration for our Chinese culture.

I think Gambling is also Chinese culture.

Playing with Fire crackers, particularly during the Chinese New year is surely part of Chinese culture.

Lion dance is also Chinese culture.

Prostituting and prostitute may be be considered a Chinese culture too, but asinine and saifulling is surely NOT Chinese culture.

The new Umno leaders seem to be very considerate to Chinese culture!!!

Sex for hire: Judge had difficulty to decide

In Stuttgart, Germany, a court judge must decide on a case of honorable intentions in a situation where a man hired his neighbour to get his wife pregnant.

It seems that Demetrius Soupolos, 29, and his former beauty queen wife, Traute, wanted a child badly, but Demetrius was told by a doctor that he was sterile.

So Soupolos, after calming his wife’s protests, hired his neighbour, Frank Maus, 34, to impregnate her. Since Maus was already married and the father of two children, plus looked very much like Soupolos to boot, the plan seemed good.

Soupolos paid Maus $2,500 for the job and for 3 evenings a week for the next 6 months, Maus tried desperately, a total of 72 times, to impregnate Traute.

When his own wife objected, he explained, “I don’t like this any more than you. I’m simply doing it for the money. Try and understand.”

When Traute failed to get pregnant after 6 months, however, Soupolos was not understanding and insisted that Maus have a medical examination, which he did.

The doctor’s announcement that Maus was also sterile shocked everyone except his wife, who was forced to confess that Maus was not the real father of their two children.

Now Soupolos is suing Maus for breach of contract, in an effort to get his money back, but Maus refuses to give it up because he said he did not guarantee conception, but only that he would give an honest effort.

Maus may also face another suit by the man who fathered his children who was not paid after impregnating his wife twice of which he had successfully guaranteed conception on both occasion. Maus defence is that he did not promised any money for the job well done and may consider a counter-claim.

Lesson learned: Don' hire a sterile man. BayiSingh told me he is big, strong and friendly, just like Chartered Bank.

1Malaysia! People first!

“So today I ask you to join me in this task of renewing Malaysia. I urge us to rise to the challenge of building a One Malaysia. People First. Performance Now.

“Let us begin this great journey together.”

-- Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak said in his maiden speech today.

... and this is also what he said and promised:

“We must reach out to all parts of Malaysia... to all our diverse communities. In our national discourse and in the pursuit of our national agenda, we must never leave anyone behind. We must reach out to the many who may have been disaffected and left confused by political games, deceit and showmanship.

“We must draw on talented people across our nation, regardless of their position or background, to re-energise a passion for public service. We must sow the seeds of goodwill and understanding in every corner of this land, so that we continue to harvest the fruits of progress and prosperity for all Malaysians.

“We must seek to include and unlock the potential of our young people who will be the next generation of leaders, business people, engineers, scientists, teachers and doctors. We must give them wings to fly.

“And so today, I pledge that I will work tirelessly to serve ALL of you.

Bail-king advice against bail out

In 1980, he bail out Bank Bumiputera who loses money due to loans extended to George Tan's Carrian empire. It was more than $2billion pumped in to resuscitate the failed institution and which include the death of our bank auditor who was sent there to investigate.

In 1998 economic crisis Mirzan's companies were "saved" when MISC, owned by Petronas bought over his company.

Mokhzani's business empire had a tough time too and managed to overcome the economic crisis.

Putra and Star LRT, together with Renong, UEM, MAS and Tajuddin Ramli - they were all bailed-out due to poor management and improper management.

Bank Rakyat, Affin Bank, Bank Bumiputera and many other banks were also bailed out in 1999.

America is also doing the same! Mahathir was right - pumping billions in tax-payers money to bail out failed institution is a disgrace. "If they must dole out money, give it to the people who suffered actual losses due to the bank's failure, but not to the bankers " ... and to the corporations that were disgraced by their bad management.

But we are different - we are developing country ... sorry, going to be a developing country.

Story: Self-fullfilling Prophesy

What is recession?

This story was told by a commenter named Resesi at my earlier posting Bayi Story: Recession and Layoffs. I like to share it with all of my readers who may have missed it.

This Story is about a man who once upon a time was selling Hotdogs by the roadside.

He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers.

He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio.

His eyes were weak, so he never watched television.

But enthusiastically, he sold lots of hotdogs.

He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales.

His sales and profit went up.

He ordered more a more raw material and buns and use to sale more.

He recruited few more supporting staff to serve more customers.

He started offering home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better stove.

As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from College, joined his father.

Then something strange happened.

The son asked, "Dad, aren't you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?"

The father replied, "No, but tell me about it." The son said, "The international situation is terrible.

The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times."

The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watched TV.

He ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly.

So the next day onwards, the father cut down the his raw material order and buns, took down the colourful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic.

He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs.

Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his hotdog stand.

And his sales started coming down rapidly, same is the profit.

The father said to his son, "Son, you were right".

"We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time."

April Fool Days for Athiest

The Athiest, His Idiot Attorney, and the Judge!

In Florida, an atheist became incensed over the preparation of Easter and Passover holidays. He decided to contact his lawyer about the discrimination inflicted on atheists by the constant celebrations afforded to Christians and Jews with all their holidays while atheists had no holiday to celebrate.

The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the long passionate presentation by the lawyer, the Judge banged his gavel and declared, 'Case dismissed!'

The lawyer immediately stood and objected to the ruling and said, 'Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and many other observances. Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah... yet my client and all other atheists have no such holiday!'

The judge leaned forward in his chair and simply said, 'Obviously your client is too confused to even know about, much less celebrate his own atheists' holiday!'

The lawyer pompously said, 'Your Honor, we are unaware of any such holiday for atheists. Just when might that holiday be, your Honor?'

The judge said, 'Well it comes every year on exactly the same date April 1st! Since our calendar sets April 1st as 'April Fools Day,' consider that Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, in my opinion, if your client says there is no God, then by scripture, he is a fool, and April 1st is his holiday! Now have a good day and now leave my courtroom!
